Wednesday’s action at the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympics will see multiple chances for Americans to be at the podium in addition to the United States men’s hockey team facing off against Sweden in the quarterfinals.

Mikaela Shiffrin looks to get her first medal at the 2026 Winter Games and is one to watch for the gold medal in the alpine skiing slalom. She came in 11th in the giant slalom on Sunday and didn’t medal in the team combined, but the slalom is her best event. Paula Moltzan is another U.S. athlete to watch in the alpine skiing event.

Elsewhere, American cross-country skier Jessie Diggins is competing in the event she won at the PyeongChang 2018 Olympics — the cross-country skiing women’s team sprint.
