The Knicks are moving on in the 2026 NBA playoffs after completing their sweep of the 76ers Sunday afternoon. A dominant offensive performance allowed New York to cruise into the semifinals, where Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns and more stars will face the winner of the Pistons-Cavaliers series.
The Pistons, the East’s top seed, lead that series 2-1, but the Cavaliers took a critical home win on Saturday. Donovan Mitchell led the way with 35 points while James Harden had critical late-game buckets for Cleveland, who cut Detroit’s lead to 2-1 in the series.
The Lakers were unable to follow in Cleveland’s footsteps with a home win of their own. They were blasted 131-108 by the Thunder, who now have a commanding 3-0 lead in the series and have yet to lose in this postseason.
The Spurs-Timberwolves series is currently 2-1, with San Antonio leading after a Game 3 win. Victor Wembanyama went off for 39 points on Friday, and the Spurs have bounced back after dropping Game 1.

Winning streaks are the theme of the second round. After Saturday, the Thunder have won all seven of their playoff games so far, while the Knicks are on a six-game winning streak dating back to the first round. The Pistons saw their five-game winning streak snapped.
The Suns, Trail Blazers, Hawks, Nuggets, Rockets, Celtics, Magic and Raptors were all eliminated in the first round.
