The boxing calendar is loading up quickly as the first half of 2026 is drawing to a close. After a quick start to the year in January and February, tons of fights have been declared for spring and summer … and a major one in September.The boxing world was almost turned upside down in May when unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk nearly lost to kickboxer Rico Verhoeven before pulling out a controversial late stoppage victory.As the calendar flips to June, there are some big fights on the docket this month.Among the fights we’re most looking forward to in the near future are Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez’s trip to bantamweight to challenge Antonio Vargas for the WBA title on June 13 and Xander Zayas’ unified junior middleweight title defense against Jaron “Boots” Ennis on June 27.
Then in July, former unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua makes his return against Kristian Prenga as an anticipated tuneup fight for an all English showdown with Tyson Fury. Plus, former unified welterweight king Errol Spence makes his return against Tim Tsyzu in Australia.Saul “Canelo” Alvarez is set for a return to action in September, when he faces WBC super middleweight champion Christian Mbilli.Take a look at the calendar for 2026 below.
