Hennessey scored a try in the match but suffered the injury making a tackle on Bordeaux prop Ben Tameifuna.
First called up to the Wales squad in autumn 2025, the Cardiff-born back has made one Test appearance for Wales so far, coming off the bench in the closing stages of the 27-17 Six Nations defeat away by Ireland in March.
Steve Tandy’s other midfield options include Max Llewellyn, Mason Grady, Eddie James and uncapped Harlequins centre Bryn Bradley.
Wales open their summer campaign against the Barbarians at Allianz Stadium in Twickenham on Saturday, 27 June before facing Fiji, Argentina and South Africa in the new Nations Championship.
