The New York Knicks are one win away from their first NBA title since 1973 after pulling off an all-time comeback in Game 4 against the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night. The Spurs dominated the first half and led by as many as 29 points, but allowed the Knicks to come all the way back in an epic 107-106 finish at Madison Square Garden. Thanks to OG Anunoby’s improbable tip-in in the final seconds, the Knicks now hold a 3-1 lead as the best-of-seven series shifts back to San Antonio for Game 5. The Knicks won Games 1 and 2 on the road and can hoist the Larry O’Brien Trophy if they do it again on Saturday night. Each of the series’ first four games has been closely contested, but nothing quite compares to what we saw in Game 4 as Jalen Brunson and Anunoby keyed the largest comeback in NBA Finals history. Brunson led all scorers with 36 points while Anunoby added 33. He did most of his work from beyond the arc, hitting on 7 of 9 attempts from deep, but his running putback with 1.2 seconds to play proved to be the game-winner. Lrailing 76-49 at halftime, the Spurs seemed poised to even the series at 2-2 while handing the Knicks another loss. New York, entering Game 3, had won 13 consecutive games — a streak that spanned 46 days and dated back to the first-round series against Atlanta. The Knicks trailed the Hawks, 2-1, in the first round before closing Atlanta out with three straight wins. The Knicks then swept the 76ers in the second round and the Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals before taking the first two games of the NBA Finals against the Spurs. Here’s a look at the NBA Finals schedule, with a potential Game 7 on Friday, June 19.2026 NBA Finals schedule, scoresWednesday, June 3Game 1: Knicks 105, Spurs 95Friday, June 5Game 2: Knicks 105, Spurs 104Monday, June 8
