“It’s another Fury. It’s another boy.

“I’ve fought a lot of people, and this guy can fight. He’s not slow; he’s fit. Thank you for taking the fight and thank you for a great fight in Manchester.”

The heavyweight contest was classed as an exhibition bout, so did not count towards either fighter’s professional boxing record.

The event was the newest example of a boxing show that blurs the lines between professional sport, entertainment and social media celebrity.

Former Love Island contestant Fury’s professional resume includes high-profile victories over influencers-turned-boxers KSI and Jake Paul.

Briton Hall, who won the World’s Strongest Man title in 2017, lost to strongman Hafthor ‘Thor’ Bjornsson in 2022 in an exhibition bout billed as ‘The Heaviest Boxing Match in History’.

Hall moved into MMA and claimed a knockout victory over strongman Mariusz Pudzianowski last year.

At Friday’s weigh-in there was a 108lb (49kg) difference in weight, but 27-year-old Fury used his superior boxing skills to hold off Hall.

Fury’s brother was among those in the crowd, along with Manchester City forward Phil Foden – who missed out on a place in England’s World Cup squad.

The undercard featured the likes of the gold chain-wearing ‘Ibiza Final Boss’ – real name Jack Kay – who went viral on social media in 2025 thanks to a distinctive bowl haircut. He saw off rapper and podcaster Jordan McCann.

Two-time Olympic taekwondo champion Jade Jones beat Argentina’s combat sports influencer Federikita in her second boxing bout, earning a technical knockout win when the fight was stopped in the second round.

That made it two wins from two for 33-year-old Jones since moving to boxing last year.

And, before the headline fight, Campbell Hatton – son of the late former world champion Ricky Hatton – was revealed as a new signing to Misfits. The 25-year-old had revealed his retirement from professional boxing last year.
