Having finishing third in the Women’s Super League last season, eight-time WSL champions Chelsea will have to beat Sociedad in order to seal their spot in the competition’s league phase. Sociedad finished their Liga F campaign in third, 21 points behind league winners Barcelona.Chelsea, who were beaten in the Champions League final by Barcelona in 2021, were seeded for Tuesday’s draw which took place at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland.
In the other ties, Paris St-Germain take on Eintracht Frankfurt, Real Madrid play Ajax, two-time winners Wolfsburg face Inter Milan and Juventus have been drawn against Austrian side St Polten.
WSL champions Manchester City and runners-up Arsenal have already qualified for the league phase, along with defending champions Barcelona.
