(Photo by ANP via Getty Images)- Liverpool are set to replace Curtis Jones, who is set to join Internazionale for £30 million, with Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton, says The Daily Mirror. Wharton, 22, has caught the eye since his £18 million move from Blackburn Rovers in February 2024 and has been linked with a host of top clubs around Europe, including Manchester United, Arsenal and Real Madrid. The England international, who did not make the final 2026 World Cup squad, is stated to be available for around £78 million, and has three years remaining on his contract.
– Manchester United are considering a move for Racing Santander left back Jorge Salinas, but face competition from Atlético Madrid, according to TEAMtalk. The 19-year-old has impressed since helping Racing secure promotion to LaLiga and even played a key role in Spain’s recent European Under-19 Championship triumph. United have extensively scouted Salinas and are weighing up whether to trigger his €16 million release clause. But the Spaniard is one of several left back targets, alongside Newcastle United’s Lewis Hall and RB Leipzig’s David Raum.
