Nurmagomedov and Makhachev are the main flagbearers for their mentors, former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and the late Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov. Umar Nurmagomedov must deliver with style if he wants to face the winner of Petr Yan vs. Merab Dvalishvili 3. That’s because fellow bantamweight Sean O’Malley is also in the title race. Nurmagomedov has a tough test ahead in perennial contender Song, fighting at home for the second time this year.
