For the sixth time in six seasons, the Eastern Conference has a new No. 1 seed. The Pistons clinched that title Saturday night with a 116-93 win over the 76ers. This marks Detroit’s first No. 1 seed since the 2006-07 season. On the other side of the box score, that Philadelphia loss dropped the Sixers back into a Play-In spot, a half-game behind the Toronto Raptors.

The Lakers, meanwhile, are clinging to the No. 3 seed in the West after losing Luka Dončić (hamstring) and Austin Reaves (oblique) for the rest of the regular season.

The final day of the regular season will be on Sunday, April 12. Between now and then, we will be updating this playoff picture each day to keep you up to date on the standings, important magic numbers, all relevant tiebreakers and our SportsLine projections.
