One week of 2026 NBA playoff action is in the books, and while no team has yet advanced to the second round, five teams are one win away from advancing: the Thunder, Timberwolves, Lakers, Spurs and Celtics. The Thunder will go for a sweep of the Suns on Monday night, and the Timberwolves also have a chance to eliminate the Nuggets. The Rockets stayed alive on Sunday night, pulling away from the Lakers without Kevin Durant to avoid a sweep.
Elsewhere on Sunday, the Raptors won ugly against the Cavaliers to tie their series at 2-2. The Spurs used a huge second half in Portland to take a 3-1 series lead, and the Celtics followed suit with a Game 4 blowout win over the 76ers despite Joel Embiid’s return.
The postseason field was already trimmed from 20 teams to 16 as the Play-In Tournament wrapped up earlier this month. The Heat, Clippers, Hornets and Warriors were all knocked out during the play-in, while the 76ers, Magic, Trail Blazers and Suns made the playoff field.
Here’s a look at the up-to-date 2026 NBA playoff bracket.
