Luke Kennard sent the Lakers past the Magic on Saturday with a game-winning jumper. The victory keeps the Lakers up an effective three games on the Rockets for the No. 3 seed with the tiebreaker. For the Magic, the loss sends them into the East’s No. 8 seed, paving the way for the Hawks to jump back above the Play-In Tournament and into the No. 6 seed for the time being.
The Oklahoma City Thunder, San Antonio Spurs and Detroit Pistons are the only teams to have clinched a playoff spot so far.

The No. 2 Spurs still have an outside shot to catch the No. 1 Thunder, but one way or another, those are going to be the top two teams, with the Lakers in pretty firm control of the No. 3 seed. After that, just one loss separates the 4-6 seeds.
