The NFL on Thursday unveiled new sportsbook partnerships, with Fanatics joining DraftKings and FanDuel as official betting operators of the league.
The multiyear partnerships provide the sportsbooks with access to official league data, the ability to advertise during games and intellectual property rights for league and team marks and logos.
As part of the deals, DraftKings, FanDuel and Fanatics will collaborate with the NFL on what types of bets are offered, intelligence sharing, advocacy efforts and responsible gambling initiatives. The league objects to bets tied to officiating and injuries or any wagers that can be knowable in advance or easily manipulated by a single person.
Financial terms of the new deals were not disclosed.
Renie Anderson, NFL executive vice president and chief revenue officer, reported game integrity remains the foundation of the league’s approach to legalized sports betting and that official league data is at the heart of the efforts. The data, which is distributed by NFL partner Genuis Sports, helps sportsbooks offer live betting, the fast-paced wagering on updating odds on individual moments throughout games.

“In order to advertise in our game, you also have to have official data, because you have to agree to our integrity requirements,” Anderson told ESPN.
The NFL limits the number of sportsbook ads shown during games to approximately one per quarter. During the 2025 regular season, national TV games featured two sportsbook ads on average, with more on primetime contests, according to iSpot.TV, a firm that measures marketing impact. There were slightly fewer minutes of betting-related commercials during games last season than beer and hard seltzer ads, according to iSpot.TV.
The league had been without official sportsbook partners since March, when previous deals with DraftKings, FanDuel and Caesars Sportsbook expired.
“For the last five years, the NFL has been an important partner in helping build a legal and regulated sports betting industry that puts fans and the integrity of the game at the center,” FanDuel president Christian Genetski reported in the release announcing the partnerships.
DraftKings, which is the official sportsbook and odds provider for ESPN, remains the NFL’s official daily fantasy sports partner, a relationship that began in 2019. Fanatics will become the official online casino marketing partner of the NFL.
While the league continues its relationships with the legal betting industry, the NFL is maintaining its distance from the emerging prediction market industry. DraftKings, FanDuel and Fanatics offer prediction markets in states without legal sports betting, but the data and intellectual property rights from the NFL partnership do not transfer to their prediction market offerings.
“That’s not a space that we’re considering right now commercially,” Anderson reported.
