Bad weather halts Women’s PGA Championship final roundImage source, Getty ImagesImage caption, Play was delayed by three and a half hoursPublished17 minutes agoStorms delayed the start of the final round of the Women’s PGA Championship by three and a half hours on Sunday.Play got under way shortly before noon local time at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota.South Korea’s Haeran Ryu held a one-shot lead going into the final round, on 11 under.Canada’s Brooke Henderson was one behind, while America’s Nelly Korda – chasing a historic third straight major championship win – was four shots off the lead at start of play.Blustery conditions affected Saturday’s third round as overnight leader Ina Yoon blew a five-shot lead.
Korda stated the weather would affect how aggressively she approached the final round.
