Farooqi claimed four wickets in the defeat against Northamptonshire Steelbacks and took a further two wickets in the loss to Gloucestershire.
Glamorgan stated they fully respected the ACB’s decision to recall Farooqi and wished the player well with his national team.
He was one of three overseas players in their T20 Blast squad alongside Australian all-rounder Nathan McAndrew and South African batter Colin Ingram.
Only two can play in any match and McAndrew is set to make his debut when they host Somerset on Friday (18:30 BST).
