The current men’s and women’s trophies will continue as normal.The public can submit a potential name for the new silverware through The Hundred website.England all-rounder Will Jacks, who won three men’s titles with Oval Invincibles, told BBC Sport: “I think it’s brilliant. “If we look back over the past five years, the Invincibles would have had good success with that. “With the double headers and teams playing on the same day, to then have both of those results counting towards the same trophy is very exciting.”Last year, a combined trophy would have been won by Northern Superchargers, whose men’s team lost in the eliminator before their women’s side won their title.England’s batter Tammy Beaumont, who will play for Birmingham Phoenix this year after a spell at Welsh Fire, mentioned: “That will be really fun. “We’ve always tried to create the ‘one club, two teams’ vibe and this will bring that even closer together. “The fact the men and women play on the same day, in the same colours, the same teams is one of the unique selling points of The Hundred, trying to push that equality dial even closer. “It’s one of the ways the women’s game in England has gone from strength to strength and really taken off since the Hundred came in.”The Hundred is being revamped in 2026 after external investment into the eight franchises worth around £500m.
Teams have revealed their new kits in recent days with the colours for some changing entirely from previous seasons.
After investment from Mumbai Indians’ owners, Invincibles, now known as MI London, have switched from their aqua colour to the blue and gold worn by their Indian Premier League franchise.
Similarly, Sunrisers Leeds, previously known as Northern Superchargers, will now play in orange rather than purple, mimicking the colours worn by the other teams in the Sunrisers family.
Southern Brave have changed from black and green to blue and red, given their owners also own Delhi Capitals in the IPL.
Manchester Originals, who will be known as Manchester Super Giants, will wear the red and blue of the Lucknow Super Giants franchise.
