Mitchell Marsh starred with the bat as Sunrisers Leeds secured their first win of The Hundred by defeating Southern Brave by five runs at Headingley.
Sunrisers began the 2026 campaign with a seven-wicket defeat by MI London but bounced back with a hard-fought victory, while Brave remain winless after two matches.
Asked to bat first, Marsh and Ryan Rickelton gave Sunrisers a flying start, with the former reaching a blistering half-century in only 26 balls.
The Australian looked dangerous from the outset and capitalised fully on a wayward set from Luke Wood, which went for 28 runs and included four free hits, as Sunrisers raced to 102 without loss at the halfway stage of the innings.
Adil Rashid slowed down the scoring by claiming three wickets in the following set, including Marsh for 69 from 34 balls.
