The friendly will take place at the 67,000-seater stadium in Edinburgh on Wednesday, 12 August at 17:15 BST.
Both clubs ended the 2025-26 Premier League campaign on 49 points, with 12th-placed Newcastle finishing a place above Everton on goal difference.
England’s top flight resumes on 22 August – 10 days after the teams go head to head at the home of Scottish rugby.
