Shankland’s surprise exit was met with dismay by the Edinburgh club’s supporters.
Now Jones has shed light on the transfer in a Hearts TV interview, external in which he also reveals that they hope to find out “in the coming the coming week or so” if Australia midfielder Cammy Devlin will be staying or leaving Tynecastle.
