Time running out to make Champions League – RoseniorImage source, Getty ImagesImage caption, Rosenior has won five of his 11 league games in charge at ChelseaByJosh LobleyBBC Sport journalistPublished54 minutes agoChelsea manager Liam Rosenior says his side need to rapidly return to winning ways if they are to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
The Blues sit four points behind Liverpool, who currently hold the fifth and final Champions League spot, with six matches of the Premier League season remaining.
Chelsea have lost their past three league matches, and it has been more than six weeks since the west London side have scored a goal in the top flight.
“As the season goes on, the less games you have left, the more important the games become,” reported Rosenior.
“We have to take advantage of this moment – we’re running out of time.
“If I look at each game, I think it’s just come down to loss of concentration in a moment that then has snowballed into the rest of the performances. What we have to do is manage the margins of the game a little bit better.”
Chelsea’s next match is Saturday’s home game against third-place Manchester United.
