UFC is back in Miami on Saturday for its annual trip to the Magic City. Since 2023, the promotion has made a trip to the Kaseya Center with a loaded fight card in tow. Saturday night, UFC 327 is no different with Jiri Prochazka and Carlos Ulberg set to battle it out for the vacant light heavyweight title.
The UFC 327 poster is the best evidence for Saturday’s action quota. Prochazka has only seen two scorecards in 38 professional fights. After Alex Pereira vacated the title, Prochazka rediscovered his path to the light heavyweight throne. Ulberg, a technical striker, stands in the former champion’s way. Ulberg leans on the wisdom of reigning featherweight champ Alexander Volkanovski and Israel Adesanya as he attempts to join his teammates in the history books.

In the co-main event, Paulo Costa returns to action in a light heavyweight fight against Azamat Murzakanov. Costa has struggled late in his career, posting a 2-4 record in his last six appearances. Costa, 34, is coming off an impressive win over Roman Kopylov last July. Murzakanov, meanwhile, is 16-0 so far in his career with 12 knockouts to his name. In fact, the Russian has scored three straight knockouts against an increasingly difficult set of opponents in Alonzo Menifield, Brendson Ribeiro and Aleksandr Rakic.
Plus, veteran heavyweight Curtis Blaydes looks to halt the momentum of fast rising prospect Josh Hokit in a featured bout. Blaydes, 35, has alternated wins and losses over his last five appearances, but his only losses have come against elite competition with true one-punch knockout power in Tom Aspinall and Sergei Pavlovich. He’s coming off a decision over Rizvan Kuniev in June. Hokit, meanwhile, is 8-0 in his career, but has yet to face anyone remotely of the level of Blaydes.
Another fun bout on Saturday pits former Bellator MMA rivals against each other when veteran featherweights Patricio Pitbull and Aaron Pico collide on the prelims. Pitbull picked up his first UFC win last July when he took a decision over Dan Ige. The former two-division Bellator champion hopes to take out the former highly touted prospect in Pico, who is coming off a devastating knockout loss in his UFC debut agains Lerone Murphy.
