Now that the 2026 MLB trade deadline has passed, it’s the perfect time for our final team-by-team MLB prospect rankings big board update — with 2026 draft picks and traded players included in their new systems!
What else has changed during the season?
Below, you will find the rankings for your favorite team, along with what to know for each system, and all 30 of these lists have been updated regularly throughout the rest of the season.
Players in the big leagues are eligible for this update as MLB rookie eligibility rules apply here — 130 at-bats, 50 innings pitched or 45 days on the active roster — and 2026 draft picks are bolded in the team lists.

Lin is a strong pitchability lefty whose stuff is just a bit light, and Kuroda-Grauer is making the most of his tools. Edwards was an excellent value in the second round last month, after leading Division I in strikeouts at USC.

RHP Didier Fuentes and RHP JR Ritchie graduated, and none of these players seems likely to debut early in 2027, though Southisene and Caminiti could be second-half options with a strong start to the year.

The new regime stockpiled talent in the draft (Bell, Jackson, Reddemann were top picks, while C Jack Natili and RHP Tyler Putnam just missed the list) and other prospects moved forward (Brito, Arguelles, Dalis, Hughes).

One thing to know: Adding Nimmala in the Jose Soriano deal at the deadline was huge, and SS Denzer Guzman was the only notable graduate. The focus going forward should be on the domestic scouting group’s returns from high school picks, including Slawinski, Jordan, Gregory-Alford and potentially 2026 first-rounder Grindlinger.

One thing to know: The Marlins added Taylor at the deadline in the Liam Hicks deal, and selected Lombard and No. 11 prospect LHP Ethan Kleinschmit with their top two picks in the 2026 draft. Cannarella is a huge arrow-up guy from the 2025 draft, and Milbrandt broke through this year, offsetting the injuries to White and Snelling.

One thing to know: The Brewers paid mightily for some pitching help from the Cardinals, dealing RF Alexander Frias (close to, if not on, the top 100 now) and CF Josiah Ragsdale (huge arrow-up prospect, top-10 list quality for many teams).
They also just graduated Cooper Pratt, and Luis Lara will soon join him. Brandon Sproat and Logan Henderson graduated earlier this year. Like all of the best organizations, the Brewers still have a top system even after all of these losses.

One thing to know: LHP Dasan Hill was traded (along with several lower-ranked prospects, most notably RF Jhomnardo Reyes) to add at the deadline, and recent graduates include Connor Prielipp and Kendry Rojas.
The continued progression from 2025 draftees Houston and Quick helps backfill those losses, and Lackey adds to the top, as Culpepper and Jenkins should graduate by the middle of 2027.

Tong has backed up a bit, though Thornton has been better than expected and the position players in the system are generally progressing.

One thing to know: The Yankees had some prospects move sideways, like Kilby (injury) and Rodriguez (performance), while I loved their top two picks in the draft (Dietz and Duncan), who added some upside to the system, while Matic and De Pena both emerged, adding even more. Keep an eye on C/OF Brendan Brock (third round) and OF Paul Contreras (fourth round) as draft sleepers with bat speed.

Wood, Renteria and Parra are the brighter spots this season.

One thing to know: Graduating Konnor Griffin, Bubba Chandler and Esmerlyn Valdez thins out the system quite a bit, but obviously helps the big league team a lot. Hernandez, Gray and Carmichael have already outperformed their 2025 draft position, so the scouting department gets some slack.
I wasn’t wild about how the Pirates used their pool money this year, but I’ll reserve judgment on Curiel, SS Aiden Ruiz and 2B Chris Rembert until next season.

Hernandez was about to be ranked second or third in the Padres’ system as the scouting info on Dominican Summer League players flows much more freely just after the trade deadline; multiple teams admitted they were trying to land Hernandez last week, and some think he’s already a candidate for the top 100.

Some teams were shocked that Frias was available at the deadline, and many evaluators think he’s easily inside of the top 100, possibly in the top half. He was about to soar up the Brewers’ prospect list, thanks to post-deadline complex-level scouting notes emerging.
