Bennett posted photos of the proposal, which happened at the sprinting legend’s 40th birthday celebration, on her Instagram story. Bennett’s initial post showed her surprised reaction to the proposal, with the caption “This about sums up the night. My face” and melting and cry-laughing emojis.

Earlier posts on her Instagram account indicated that she was involved in planning Bolt’s 40th birthday party — but had no idea of the surprise that was in store for her.

Bolt and Bennett have been a couple for over a decade and have three children together. Their first child, daughter Olympia Lightning, was born in May 2020, and their twin sons, Thunder and Saint Leo, followed in June 2021.
