Australia secured gold with a Commonwealth Games record time of seven minutes and 1.47 seconds, while England were second, a touch under five seconds quicker than Wales.
The two relay medals go alongside the silver and bronze won by Para-swimmers Ela Letton-Jones and Rhys Darbey respectively.
All four of Wales’ medals have come in the pool, with Olympic gymnast Ruby Evans failing to finish on the podium in the women’s all-round individual final on Sunday evening.
Wales are still waiting for that elusive gold medal after three days of competition in Glasgow.
