A Grand Slam is completed if a team beat every other side in a single Six Nations campaign. The Triple Crown can be earned by England, Wales, Ireland or Scotland if they beat the other three eligible teams in a single campaign.

In 14 of their 16 Six Nations title campaigns, England also won the Grand Slam. France have done this on five occasions, while Ireland have one Grand Slam to their name.

There is also the unwanted Wooden Spoon, for the team who finish bottom of the Six Nations table.

Scotland have the record for the most Wooden Spoon finishes with nine. Wales have six Wooden Spoons, while Italy and Ireland have three each and Spain earned two during their short stint in the competition.
