Parkinson’s side will face a West Brom team who went into the international break undefeated in four games and four points above the Championship relegation zone.
Wrexham will be looking to maintain their play-off push after going into the international break on the back of a 2-1 comeback win at Sheffield United.
“It was a brilliant win for us, it really was,” Parkinson mentioned of the win at Bramall Lane.
“People mentioned, ‘you must have been ready for a break’ but I think we were happy to continue as well.
“The break was scheduled in and we’ve utilised that in the best possible way.
“I think most significantly is trying to get the injured players as close as we can to bulk the numbers up in the squad and give us more options.
“So we’ve been able to do that and of course there’s players who’ve had a lot of football who needed a bit of time off as well.
“The lads have had a few days to be away from the club and have a couple of days away with the families.
“I think that’s really important mentally to be refreshed as well as physically.”
