UFC will need extra security for this one. UFC middleweight champion Khamzat Chimaev and Sean Strickland headline UFC 328 with bad blood boiling over.
Mixed martial arts’ top promotion returns to Newark, New Jersey, on Saturday. In the main event, Chimaev makes his first title defense against former champ Strickland. Both fighters have lobbed threats at each other before the culmination of their deeply personal feud. The addition of Joshua Van vs. Tatsuro Taira beefs up the card. Their flyweight title fight was originally scheduled for UFC 327, but was moved back a few weeks after Van suffered an injury.

UFC’s subsequent marquee event isn’t a numbered card. UFC Freedom 250 takes place at The White House on June 14. The seven-fight card is chock-full of bangers. Ilia Topuria and Justin Gaethje unify their lightweight titles in the marquee. In the co-main event, former two-division champion Alex Pereira makes his heavyweight debut in pursuit of the interim title. Other notable names on the card include Sean O’Malley, Michael Chandler and Diego Lopes, plus the late addition of Josh Hokit vs. Derrick Lewis.
